All globally issued UnionPay cards (including credit cards and debit cards) with card numbers starting with '62'

During the promotion period, cardholders who use any UnionPay payment method (including physical card, mobile Pay, and online manual card number entry) at online and offline merchants in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will enjoy a 10% instant discount with no minimum spend required. The discount is capped at 50 SAR per transaction.

1.Activity Period

From May 18, 2026, to February 20, 2027 (inclusive of both days). The time shall be based on the UnionPay backend system time.

2.How to Participate

Users must successfully register through the activity's QR code or designated link (via U-plan registration) to participate.

3.Applicable Scope

The offer is available for all online and offline merchant payments across the entire Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Applicable to all UnionPay payment methods (including physical card, mobile Pay, and online manual card number entry).

4.Definition of Mobile Pay

Refers to payments made using the phone's native NFC wallet function bound to a UnionPay card starting with '62', such as Apple Pay, Huawei Pay, Mi Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay. Payments made via third-party wallet apps bound to a UnionPay card do not meet this definition and are not eligible for the discount.

5.Special Note on Merchant Category Code (MCC)

The issuance of the activity discount is determined by the Merchant Category Code (MCC) registered by the merchant with the local acquirer. This activity applies to all online and offline merchant payments across Saudi Arabia, covering core MCC categories closely related to daily life, such as convenience services, medical care, transportation, entertainment, hotels, general merchandise, jewelry, airline ticketing, supermarkets, catering, and so on. UnionPay International is not responsible, and will not accept subsequent compensation claims, if a cardholder does not receive the instant discount because the merchant's actual business category does not match the registered MCC category. Transactions such as remittance and ATM cash withdrawal are not eligible for the discount.

6.Frequency Limit

An individual user (U-plan ID) can enjoy a maximum of 3 discounts per day; the cumulative maximum number of discounts for the entire activity period is 50.

7.Quota Limit

The quota is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis according to the actual transaction order. The activity will cease when the budget is fully utilized.

This activity is applicable to all globally issued UnionPay cards (including credit cards and debit cards) with card numbers starting with '62'.

9.User Definition

The following are all considered to be the same user: same device, same user ID, same registered mobile number, same mobile number reserved with the bank card, same bank card (physical card), same ID number, etc. Virtual mobile numbers cannot participate in the activity.

10.Refund Rules

Only valid consumption transactions are eligible for participation. Cancellations, pre-authorizations, refunds, or abnormal payments are not eligible for the discount. In the event of a refund (including full or partial refund), only the amount actually paid by the cardholder will be refunded, and the discounted amount will not be returned. Refunds only support the original payment route and cash refunds are not accepted. Due to exchange rate fluctuations, the real-time exchange rate at the time of refund may differ from the rate at the time of debit, resulting in a difference between the actual RMB amount credited and the initial debited amount.

11.Compliance Behavior

Users shall not engage in non-compliant behaviors such as false transactions, illegal profiteering, malicious use of multiple accounts/devices, or utilizing bots or crawler software. Upon discovery, UnionPay has the right to disqualify the user, claw back the enjoyed discount, and reserve the right to pursue legal action.

12.Arbitrage Handling

Any user found to be engaging in malicious arbitrage in violation of the rules, UnionPay has the right to claw back the fraudulently obtained discount funds and place the user on a blacklist, refusing their participation in any subsequent UnionPay promotional activities.

13.Disclaimer

The inability to participate due to unsupported user electronic devices, card function restrictions, or various third-party system issues is not the responsibility of the organizer or UnionPay International.

14.Specific Restrictions

Transactions for purchasing gift cards, prepaid cards, and similar items are excluded from this activity.

15.Organizer's Rights

This activity is organized by UnionPay International. Within the scope permitted by laws and regulations, the organizer reserves the right to adjust the rules (including but not limited to amount, threshold, quota, etc.) based on the actual progress of the activity. Any adjustments will be announced on the activity page and will take effect upon announcement.

2. UnionPay International is neither vendors nor service providers, thus UnionPay International is not responsible for the products or services provided by the merchant. Any obligations and liabilities relating to such products or services and all auxiliary services shall be borne by the merchant.
