UnionPay cards (card numbers starting with 62) or UnionPay-powered wallets issued outside the Chinese Mainland

During the promotion period, users who buy tickets at Shanghai Yu Garden ticket windows and make purchases at designated cultural gift stores, and pay by using a UnionPay card issued outside the Chinese mainland (including Hong Kong and Macao) via insertion, tap, swipe, or by using UnionPay QR code payment or by UnionPay Mobile payment(NFC), can enjoy a discount of 10 RMB off 50 RMB spent. Each user can only enjoy the discount once during the promotion period. Quota are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis and will end once the quota is exhausted.

1.Meeting any of the following conditions will be regarded as “one user”: user who uses or possesses the same device, same app account user ID, same registered mobile phone number, same mobile phone number registered at the bank, same physical bank card number, or same ID card number, etc. Users should use their own devices, APP accounts, bank cards, and QR payment codes to participate in the promotion.

2.Split bills are not allowed. If a user needs to make multiple purchases, he/she needs to line up again. A cashier has the right to reject the user who jump the queue from participating in the promotion.

3. If a transaction that received a discount is refunded or voided, the discount is considered forfeited. The refund amount will be the actual amount paid (total minus discount) returned to the original payment card. The discount quota for that user will be marked as used.

4.For discount failures caused by user-related reasons such as incompatibility of user device, app not updated to the latest version, loss report of cards, exchange of cards etc., the dis- count quota will not be compensated.

5. To ensure more users can benefit from this promotion, China UnionPay and the merchants reserve the right to withhold discounts, recover issued discounts, and ban future participation for users (and their associated tools, including but not limited to mobile numbers, card numbers, and App accounts) who use or are suspected of using improper means to exploit the promotion or violate activity rules.

6.Only transactions processed through UnionPay network are qualified for the promotion. Stored value types such as redemption coupons, pre-paid cards, precious metal, alcohol and tobacco products are not applicable for the promotion.

7.The time records of all activities of this promotion will accord with UnionPay's back-end system timing (Beijing time). Where force majeure or change of situation occurs (e.g. major disaster events, commanded by authorities to suspend or adjust, suspended due to system failures, occurrence of illegal and fraudulent behavior during the promotion that harms consumers' benefit), to the extent permitted by law, UnionPay reserves the right to adjust, suspend, and terminate this promotion effective upon announcement.

8.A user's participation in the promotion is deemed as acknowledgment of the promotion rules. For any questions about the promotion rules, users can enquire the participating merchants or UnionPay (customer service hotline: 95516).

9. Due to potential network delays, the remaining quota displayed on the UnionPay App is for reference only.
