Eligible Participants: UnionPay cards issued in Mainland China( not including Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR and Taiwan regions) starting with number 62.

Participation Methods: UnionPay Card cardholder from Mainland China(not including Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR and Taiwan regions) after successful registration, will enjoy a 1.5% exchange rate discount for each transaction at designated merchants of City of Dreams and Studio City in Macao SAR

1)     Users with UnionPay cards issued in Mainland China starting with the number 62 can register for the promotion. Multiple cards can be registered, once registered can enjoy the promotion, but each card can only be registered for one platform channel and cannot be registered repeatedly. Each registration channel is only valid for the cards supported by that channel's app or banking institution.

2)     After successful registration, users who make consumer transactions in designated retail merchants at City of Dreams and Studio City in Macao SAR in Macao Pataca (MOP) (including pre-authorized transactions, i.e., transactions where actual deductions occur in pre-authorized transactions) will enjoy a 1.5% exchange rate discount for each transaction. Transaction time, type, and exchange rate are subject to the records of the UnionPay backend system. For pre-authorized transactions, the exchange rate and discount will apply based on the real-time rate at the time the pre-authorization transaction is settled.

3)     During the event period, upon registration, users can enjoy Exchange Rate Discount. This discount applies to all merchants at City of Dreams and Studio City in Macau, except for the following merchants:

Studio City: Bi Ying, Blind Tiger, Diva, Herbal Treasures, Joyride Diner, Kiku, Kiku Ramen, Lobby Café at Epic Tower, Louvre Pastry & Deli, McDonald's, McCafe, Pearl Dragon, Premiere Bar, Rossi Pizza, Rossi Trattoria, Spice Road, Spotlight, Hawker Hawker, Living Room, BYD, Golden Reel Boutique Hiphi, IM Motors, Water Park Boutique

City of Dreams Resort Co., Ltd. and Studio City Commercial Services Co., Ltd. reserve the right to modify the list of excluded merchants at any time without prior notice and will not provide refunds or compensation.

4)     This promotion is capped at 6,000 transactions on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

5)     Only transactions processed via UnionPay are eligible for the promotion. Transactions made through UnionPay online payments, third-party platforms ( including AliPay and Wechat), are not eligible.

6)     Cardholders can enjoy the exchange rate discount when using their registered cards to make purchases through Swiping, QuickPass (including Card QuickPass and Mobile QuickPass), and UnionPay QR code.

7)     The following merchants/items are not eligible for the promotion: regulatory restricted merchants and banks' high-risk merchants,auction merchants, stored-value goods such as consumption coupons, vouchers, stored-value cards and cigarettes, alcohol, and investment gold bars (including gold particles)

8)     From the start of the promotion, the cumulative transaction amount (before applying any discount) will be capped at CNY 925,867 (all registered cards under this event and channel are calculated in total). Once this amount is reached, the transaction of the registered cards under this event and channel (including new cards) will no longer enjoy benefits. Each user can enjoy a maximum exchange rate discount of CNY 13,888, and each card can also enjoy a maximum exchange rate discount of CNY 13,888. Before making large-value transactions, it is recommended that cardholders contact the issuing bank in advance to ensure the smooth progress of the transaction.

9)     Cross-border transaction limits are determined by each issuing bank based on the specific settings of individual card types. For detailed information regarding applicable limits, please consult your card issuer directly. Prior to initiating any high-value transaction, cardholders are strongly advised to contact the issuing bank in advance to obtain prior authorization and facilitate a smooth transaction process.

10)   After successful registration, users can check the available exchange rate discount on the promotion page. The exchange rate discount is based on the market exchange rate with a 1.5% discount. For example, if the market exchange rate is 100 MOP = 89 CNY, cardholders who have successfully registered for this promotion will enjoy 100 MOP = 87.665 CNY. The market exchange rates are sourced from UnionPay’s system, based on multiple channels and market principles. The market exchange rate may fluctuate according to market conditions. The displayed discount exchange rate is for reference only, and the exchange rate in the query module may be delayed compared to the actual transaction exchange rate. The actual exchange rate will prevail at the time of the transaction, and UnionPay International will apply the corresponding discount based on the real-time exchange rate.

11)   If a card is registered for multiple UnionPay Exchange Rate Promotions for MOP at the same time, during the transaction, the most favorable discount will be applied from the available discounts across these activities of this currency.

12)   After registration and making consumption, users can check the registration records and benefit bills in the "Exchange Rate Benefit Records" on the activity homepage.

13)   If the user cancels registration for the card, the card will no longer enjoy the exchange rate discount.

14)  Refunds and Returns: If a transaction is refunded or returned, only the actual amount paid by the cardholder will be refunded, and the exchange rate discount amount will not be refunded. No compensation or adjustment will be made for the discount. The transaction amount of refund or return transactions will be deducted after the transaction is completed.

15)  This promotion cannot be enjoyed simultaneously with other promotions (such as activities that have indicated non-combinable with other offers, etc.).

16)  The minimum exchange rate discount amount (if applicable) is CNY 0.01.

17)  The benefits of this promotion will expire at the end of the event.

18)  The discounts are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash or products.

19)  Accounts from the same platform channel (e.g., Bank APPs, UnionPay APP, etc.) are considered as the same user. Users can only register for the promotion using their own platform account, Bank Card, etc.

20)  If a user is found to be violating the rules or engaging in fraudulent behavior to obtain UnionPay discounts or card rights and interests, UnionPay International reserves the right to withhold discounts, cancel the user’s participation in current or future promotions, and recover any benefits already granted. If such improper actions cause UnionPay International to suffer losses or damage its reputation, UnionPay International reserves the right to pursue compensation from the user.

4. UnionPay International reserves the right to modify the contents of the terms and conditions in both Chinese and English versions. In case of any discrepancies, the Simplified Chinese version will prevail.
