Cash withdrawal
You can withdraw US dollars （USD ） and Uruguayan pesos （ UYU ） using UnionPay card at ATMs with the BANRED logo. The current withdrawal limit at local ATMs is USD 300 and UYU 5000 per transaction.The current service fee per withdrawal is USD 7.3. The withdrawal limits and seivice fee are set by the local network and apply to all card schemes. There is no charge for balance inquiries.

Charges
No conversion fee is applied to payments or cash withdrawal made by UnionPay cards or via UnionPay network. The transaction value in local currency will be directly converted to RMB based on the market exchange rate.
ATM commission fee consists of two parts:
(1)Service fee charged by the issuer: please consult the issuer for details.
(2)Service fee charged by the ATM acquirer in Uruguay,: some ATMs will charge commission fee, which is charged by the local banks in Uruguay, and which has nothing to do with UnionPay or the issuer.
Cash withdrawal via debit card results in a lower commission fee. -
