Fiji – Crossroad on the South PacificIf you move a tellurian, in the central of South Pacific, you will see a piece of small islands, and the place 180° meridian running through is Fiji. POS acceptanceMerchants displaying the signage of or using BSP , Westpac or ANZ POS machines all accept UnionPay cards.
When using co-branded cards, you may not be able to choose UnionPay as the routing option at some merchants. Therefore, you are advised to use UnionPay cards with card number starting with 62 so as to be benefited from the special offers and services provided by UnionPay. Paying with UnionPay credit card at some local merchants requires no PIN. Cardholders can complete the payment following the instruction of terminal. Cash withdrawalIn Fiji, UnionPay cards are accepted for withdrawing FJD at ATM of BSP , Westpac and ANZ. Some ATMs offer the Chinese interface.

Daily cash withdrawal limit fromrespective issuers and/or ATM may apply. Please consult your issuer on thepossible cap on the amount. ChargesATM commission fee consists of two separate fees:
(1) Service fee charged by the issuer: please consult your issuer for details.
(2) Service fee charged by the ATM acquirer in Fiji: some ATMs will charge commission fee, which is charged by the local banks in Fiji and which has nothing to do with UnionPay or the issuer.
Cash withdrawal via debit card results in a lower commission fee.
