Activity Rules：

1. The Promotion is valid from 1 July 2026 to 28 February 2027 (UTC+12, both dates inclusive).

2. How to join the promotion: 1) Cardholders who successfully sign up the Promotion through QR code will enjoy a 10% instant discount when paying for Auckland Transport services or topping up an AT HOP card using the registered UnionPay credit card via UnionPay Mobile QuickPass. Per card per day can redeem once with the cap of NZD 5, max 30 times during the promotion period.2) All amounts stated are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD). Accumulatedly capped at 5,000 redemptions on a first-come, first-served. The Promotion will end on 28 February 2027 or or until the budget has been exhausted, whichever occurs first. 3) The offer is eligible for using UnionPay Mobile QuickPass with a UnionPay credit card and processed through the UnionPay network are eligible. Transactions completed via UnionPay Online Payment or third-party payment platforms are not eligible. (For dual-branded cards, cardholders who bind the card via the UnionPay network in Apple Pay are also eligible.)

3.Eligible Payment Methods: The Promotion is only applicable to UnionPay credit cards bound to eligible mobile wallet applications for UnionPay Mobile QuickPass transactions, including but not limited to Apple Pay, Huawei Pay, Mi Pay, Samsung Pay, OPPO Pay and Meizu Pay.

4.Only UnionPay credit cards bound to UnionPay Mobile QuickPass are eligible when paying for Auckland Transport services or topping up an AT HOP card.

5.The discount is non-transferable, non-exchangeable for cash, and cannot be redeemed for other goods or services.

6. Per card per day can redeem once with the cap of NZD 5, max 30 times during the promotion period. The redemption quota is shared across all eligible Auckland Transport services and AT HOP card top-up transactions.

7.Registration for the Promotion must be completed using a UnionPay card. Each user may register up to three (3) UnionPay credit cards, and eligible transactions must be processed via the UnionPay network to enjoy the discount. If the registered card number does not match the card used for payment, the discount will not be granted. UnionPay International shall not be responsible for such cases. Once registration is completed, the registered card information cannot be modified or deleted.

8.The transaction date shall be determined by the time when Auckland Transport initiates the charge. May consolidate fares for multiple travel days into a single charge. For Auckland Transport transactions, a pre-authorization will be initiated upon the first tap-in each day. When the accumulated daily fare reaches NZD 35, a second pre-authorization transaction will be initiated, and so on.

9. The number of discounts will be calculated according to the number of pre-authorization transactions initiated by Auckland Transport, while the discount amount will be calculated based on the final posted amount by Auckland Transport.

10.Under all circumstances, including but not limited to transaction date/time, transaction amount, reversals, adjustments, cancellations and refunds, UnionPay's backend system records shall prevail.

11.Unless otherwise specified, this Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers, including other UnionPay promotions that take priority, or fare refunds provided by Auckland Transport. Where a fare refund is processed by Auckland Transport, the corresponding instant discount previously granted will be fully or partially reversed based on the backend transaction records, and the redeemed promotional quota will not be reinstated. However, this restriction does not apply to the registered cross-border foreign exchange rate promotion. The current order of applying benefits is: instant discount first, followed by the exchange rate promotion.

12.Auckland Transport gate displays will not show discount information. The final charged amount shall be based on the issuing bank's actual billing records.

13.The same mobile device, user ID, registered mobile number, mobile number linked to the UnionPay card, physical UnionPay card or identification number will be regarded as the same user.

14.Only eligible transactions qualify for this Promotion. Reversed, adjusted, cancelled, refunded, fraudulent or abnormal transactions, or transactions that cannot be successfully posted due to insufficient balance and subsequently enter debt recovery, are not eligible.

15.In the event of a transaction reversal, the payment amount will be refunded to the original UnionPay card used for payment. Manual cancellation scenarios are not eligible for refund. If there is any discrepancy in the refunded amount after a transaction reversal, cardholders may contact the UnionPay Customer Service Hotline for enquiry.

16.Cardholders participating in this Promotion must not engage in any of the following prohibited activities ("Misconduct"):

a) Conducting fictitious or false transactions;

b) Participating in the Promotion for unlawful profit-making purposes;

c) Using multiple accounts maliciously to obtain or assist others in obtaining UnionPay or UnionPay International promotional resources (including but not limited to discounts, coupons or rewards);

d) Participating in the Promotion using bots, spiders, crawlers, automated scripts or any other automated means;

e) Violating the principle of good faith;

f) Engaging in any other fraudulent or dishonest activities to obtain promotional benefits.

17.If any misconduct or malicious abuse is identified, UnionPay International reserves the right to disqualify the cardholder, withhold or recover any improperly obtained promotional benefits, prohibit the cardholder from participating in future UnionPay International promotions, seek compensation where appropriate, and pursue legal action.

18.Cardholders acknowledge that the Internet is subject to uncertainties. UnionPay International reserves the right to suspend the Promotion if it cannot continue due to force majeure, communication failures, large-scale system failures or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

19.UnionPay International shall not be responsible if cardholders are unable to participate in the Promotion due to issues relating to their own electronic devices, network connectivity, data transmission or other system-related problems.

20.Cardholders should note that certain card products may require overseas transaction authorization, sufficient available credit or account balance, transaction password verification or other settings as required by the issuing bank. Please consult the relevant issuing bank for details.

21.Cardholders acknowledge and accept that UnionPay International is not the provider of Auckland Transport services and has no access to information regarding travel routes or fare amounts. Any enquiries relating to transport services should be directed to Auckland Transport. UnionPay International accepts no liability in relation to such services.

22.Cardholders should carefully read these Terms and Conditions to ensure full understanding of all provisions. Participation in the Promotion constitutes acceptance of and agreement to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

23.To the extent permitted by applicable law, UnionPay International reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions in both the Chinese and English versions and shall not be liable for any changes to or termination of the Promotion. All announcements published through UnionPay International's official channels shall prevail.

24.In the event of any inconsistency between the Chinese and English versions of these Terms and Conditions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
