During the Promotion Period, eligible UnionPay cardholders by using UnionPay Mobile Contactless or UnionPay QR Code in purchasing at the Stores will enjoy an instant discount of HKD/MOP30 upon single net spending of HKD/MOP500 or above at Watsons store in Hong Kong and Macau with UnionPay Card. 

Activity Rules：

1.      The promotion runs from 1 July 2026 until 14 August 2026 or until the quota is fully utilized, whichever is earlier, based on transaction date (the “Promotion Period”).

2.      The Promotion is only applicable to physical outlets of Watsons in Hong Kong and Macau (the “Stores”).

3.      The promotion is applicable to UnionPay Mobile Contactless Payment (including Apple Pay and Samsung Pay etc )(refers to “UnionPay Mobile Contactless Payment”) and UnionPay QR Code (including UnionPay App and other App supporting UnionPay QR Code Payment) (refers to “UnionPay QR Code”). The qualified transaction must be settled via UnionPay network.

4.      During the Promotion Period, eligible UnionPay cardholders by using UnionPay Mobile Contactless or UnionPay QR Code in purchasing at the Stores will enjoy an instant discount of HKD/MOP30 upon single net spending of HKD/MOP500 or above at Watsons store in Hong Kong and Macau with UnionPay Card (Refers to “Offer”).

5.      UnionPay Mobile Contactless Payment refers to the contactless payment via UnionPay network using an eligible UnionPay Card added to the wallet of designated smartphones or wearable devices. To enjoy the Offer, cardholders are required to present their eligible virtual UnionPay Card on their mobile devices or wearable devices to the cashier before payment and successfully settle the transactions with contactless payment.

6.      UnionPay QR Code Payment refers to the payment made by scanning UnionPay QR Code with an eligible UnionPay Card added to the app. To enjoy the Offer, cardholders should present the eligible payment code to the cashier and successfully settle the transactions with mobile payment via UnionPay network.

7.      Quota applies and on a first come-first served basis while stock lasts. Each qualified card is entitled to enjoy the offer maximum of 2 times during the Promotion Period.

8.      The Promotion cannot be exchange for cash, gift, service or discount.

9.      These are not Eligible Transactions: bill payments, Octopus card reloads, phone or fax orders, purchasing Watsons coupons, #1DAYonly items, stage 1 infant milk powder, prepaid phone cards, environmental levy on plastic shopping bags, redemption items, designed point/e-stamp redemption items, Non-Discountable Products ,Dietitian Consultation Service, prescription products, subscription program, body check & vaccine package, Chinese medicine practitioner’s consultation services, Online Medical Service, fixed price items, supplier direct delivery items and pre-order items, transactions made at self-checkout machine, Tap & Shop and mobile POS, transactions made at any outlets outside Hong Kong (including Macau and Mainland China), unauthorized transactions, transactions (including top-up transactions) made via e-wallets, all unposted/cancelled/refunded transactions.

10.   A qualifying transaction refers to the final amount payable when making the purchase with UnionPay Mobile Contactless or UnionPay QR Code. The amount of delivery charges (if any), use of gift / cash voucher and other selected discount privilege will not be taken into account when calculating qualifying transaction.

11.   The Offer cannot be used in conjunction with other UnionPay promotions, except for in-store discounts or cross-border consumption exchange rate discounts for which registration has been successfully completed. Currently, the order of discount offers shall be instant discounts first, then the exchange rate discounts.

12.   The Offer details will not be shown on the receipt. Cardholders can refer to the actual amount debited by the issuing bank.

13.   No claims can be made against Watson’s the Chemist, Division of AS Watsons Retail (HK) Limited and UnionPay (Hong Kong) Company Limited in relation to the discontinuance / suspension / termination of the Offer, any failure in the communication networks, mobile applications, mobile devices or any interruption, interception, suspension, delay, blackout, loss, unavailability, mutilation, incorrect data transmission, temporary suspension, delay or failure of any UnionPay payment transaction arising from POS terminal including related program software, any POS equipment, bank card, electronic payment system, banking system, telephone line and broadband.

14.   Under all circumstances shall all timestamps of this Promotion (including but not limited to the transaction date/time), transaction amounts, reversal, revocation, cancellation or refund, be based on the UnionPay back-end system records.

15.   The Offer is only applicable to qualified transactions excluding withdrawn, reversed, cancelled, refunded transactions nor fraudulent activities. Since the UnionPay International system cannot identify whether the revocation, cancellation or refund is due to the subjective will of cardholders or other reasons like the system, UnionPay International will disqualify cardholders from enjoying the discount, and reserves the right to pursue legal action and retrieve any distributed instant discount, either in full or on a pro-rata basis according to the refunded amount, upon disqualification of the cardholders. The quota originally issued will not be returned.

16.   In the event of any refund or return, only the actual amount paid by the cardholders will be refunded, and any discount amount will not be refunded. If the final net spending amount does not meet the spending requirement after the return, the Offer will no longer apply, and the cardholders must repay the instant discount amount received. The quota will still be counted as used if a refund is processed.

17.   UPIHK is neither vendors nor service providers, thus UPIHK is not responsible for the products or services provided by the merchants.

18.   Company and UPIHK reserve the right to suspend and / or terminate granting any offer under this Promotion, and /or vary these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Watson’s the Chemist, Division of AS Watsons Retail (HK) Limited and UPIHK accept no liability for such change or suspension / termination.

19.   In the event of any disputes, Watson’s the Chemist, Division of AS Watsons Retail (HK) Limited reserves the right of final decision.

20.   In case of any discrepancy, the Chinese version shall prevail for all purposes.
