How to use Gift Card?

"TheFork Gift Card" can be used to pay for meals (food and drinks) at TheFork partner restaurants located in France, Spain and Italy.

1) Download TheFork App and add Gift Card Code to "My Gift Card" section or Input the Gift Card code into "TheFork PAY" section

2) Participating restaurants can be searched: a) by clicking on the ‘Where to use my Gift Card?’’ button in TheFork App; b) once you input the Gift Card code in TheFork PAY by searching the list of participating restaurants that will appear in TheFork PAY; or c) on the Platform using the “Gift Cards” filter

3) Pay the bill with UnionPay Card in the TheFork PAY – if The Gift Card does not cover the full amount, you can pay the balance with UnionPay card saved in TheFork PAY.

Activity Rules：

1. The Gift Card is valid for 18 months from its date of issue (which may be before you actually receive the Gift Card) as indicated on the Gift Card, unless its value is entirely spent before that deadline.

2. Use TheFork app to book the restaurant.

3. Only one Gift Card can be used per transaction. The Gift Card cannot be split across multiple uses or exchanged for cash. 

4. Customers who wish to participate in this promotion must show their Gift Card prior to making payment.

5. Each eligible UnionPay card (whose card numbers start with the digits “62”) can only participate once during the promotional period. 

6. The Gift Card consists of a code. The value is pre-determined and cannot be changed.

7. There will be no replacement, reload or refund (even partial) of the Gift Cards.

8. UnionPay International and TheFork assume no liability in case of loss, theft, destruction or unauthorised use of the Gift Cards.

9. The Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash. Gift Cards cannot be resold but can be given to another person.

10. The Gift Cards cannot be used in any other manner or for anything other than as provided in these Conditions of Use.

11. UnionPay International and TheFork reserve the right to amend these Conditions of Use from time to time at its discretion. These Conditions of Use are applicable to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12. The currency exchange rate shall be the exchange rate displayed on the official website of UnionPay International on the date of transaction.

13. A limited number of Gift Card will be issued daily during the promotion, according to the information on the Gift Card collection page.

14. UnionPay International is neither vendor nor service provider of the products or services. Please contact the Merchants for any questions or dispute related to the products or services. For any inquiries concerning the digital coupon, please contact 95516.

15. In case of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the Chinese version shall prevail.

Exception Clause:

1. The terms and conditions of the promotion is applicable to the merchant. Details can be consulted from customer service staff.
2. UnionPay International is neither vendors nor service providers, thus UnionPay International is not responsible for the products or services provided by the merchant. Any obligations and liabilities relating to such products or services and all auxiliary services shall be borne by the merchant.
3. Merchants and/or offer may be affected by COVID-19. Details shall be subject to the announcement of the merchant.
