Terms and Conditions

UnionPay Exclusive: Enjoy YATA Shopping Days & YATA Mid-Autumn Fest Instant Discount up to HK$300 is held from 21 August to 30 September 2026 (hereinafter referred to as "Promotion Period"). YATA Shopping Days runs from 21 to 30 August 2026 (hereinafter referred to as "Promotion Period 1"). YATA Mid Autumn Fest runs on every Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 30 September 2026 (i.e. 4-6 September, 11-13 September, 18-20 September, and 25-27 September 2026; hereinafter referred to as "Promotion Period 2"), or when the quotas are fully utilized, whichever is earlier (based on the transaction date).
During the Promotion Period, UnionPay Cardholders can enjoy the following offers by paying with UnionPay Mobile Pay or UnionPay QR Code at designated cashier counters of all YATA physical stores:
Offer 1: Enjoy a 7% instant discount upon a single net spending of HK$450 or above, up to HK$50 instant discount per transaction (Spend HK$450 to enjoy HK$31.5 instant discount; spend HK$714 to enjoy HK$50 instant discount) (hereinafter referred to as "Offer 1"). Each card can enjoy the instant discount once per day, up to 4 times during Promotion Period 1, and up to 2 times during Promotion Period 2, with a maximum instant discount of up to HK$300 throughout the Promotion Period. Offers are available on a first-come, first-served basis while quotas last.
Offer 2: Extra 5% off on selected items (hereinafter referred to as "Offer 2"). Extra 5% off is only applicable to designated items during YATA Shopping Days at YATA physical stores. Selected items are available in limited quantities while stocks last. For details, please refer to the in-store promotional materials. (Offer 1 and Offer 2 are hereinafter collectively referred to as "Offers").
The Offers are applicable to transactions settled via UnionPay Mobile Pay (including Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Huawei Pay, etc.) and UnionPay QR Code (including UnionPay App and other mobile applications supporting UnionPay QR Code). The full transaction amount must be settled via the UnionPay network to be eligible for the Offers.
The Offers are applicable to designated cashier counters of all physical stores of YATA in Hong Kong (hereinafter referred to as "Participating Stores"). Quotas for the Offers are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis while quotas last; the promotion will end immediately once quotas are fully utilized. In case of any violation, UnionPay International Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as "UnionPay International") and YATA Limited (hereinafter referred to as "YATA") reserve the right to recover the relevant discount.

The Offers are not applicable to the following types of transactions:

i.	Transactions made with UnionPay Cards issued in Mainland China;
ii.	Transactions made via WeChat Pay, WeChat Pay HK, Alipay, and AlipayHK;
iii.	Split transactions; the spending amount is calculated based on the net single invoice amount;
iv.	Purchases of YATA gift certificate, infant formula (Stage 1), plastic shopping bag charges, other designated items, after-sales service fees, and transactions at YATA Online Store;
v.	Any unposted, cancelled, refunded, or fraudulent transactions;
vi.	Transactions made with different primary and supplementary cards held by the same cardholder cannot be combined.

Please note that the discount amount will not be displayed during the payment process or on the sales receipt. The net amount after deducting the instant discount will be displayed upon successful payment. The final transaction amount paid can be found in the transaction history within the mobile wallet or bank app.
UnionPay International will apply the instant discount to eligible transactions in real-time at the time of payment based on the transaction amount and time initiated by the merchant. No accumulation or retrospective claims will be accepted.
The Offers carry no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash, other products, or discounts. They are non-replaceable and non-transferable.
Unless otherwise specified, the Offers can be used in conjunction with other promotional offers, including cross-border spending exchange rate offers. The instant discount will be applied first, followed by the calculation of exchange rate offers and other promotions.
Under all circumstances, all time points (including but not limited to transaction date/time), transaction amounts, reversals, revocations, cancellations, or refunds related to this promotion shall be based on the records of the UnionPay backend system.
Under no circumstances shall UnionPay International and YATA be held liable for any failure to participate in the promotion due to communication system failures, interruptions, interceptions, suspensions, delays, power outages, data loss, unavailability, destruction, incorrect data transmission, or technical issues related to POS terminals (including related software), POS transaction equipment, bank cards, electronic transaction systems, banking systems, telephone lines, networks, etc.
The usage of the UnionPay App or other applications is subject to their respective terms and conditions. For details, please refer to the relevant application information or check with the issuing bank. UnionPay International and YATA assume no responsibility for the effective operations of other applications.
UnionPay International is not the supplier of the products or services and shall not bear any liability in relation to such products or services.
By participating in this instant discount promotion, cardholders are deemed to have understood, accepted, and agreed to comply with all the terms and conditions of this promotion.
To the extent permitted by applicable laws, UnionPay International and YATA reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions, change, or terminate the Offers at any time without prior notice to cardholders, and accept no liability for any responsibilities arising from such changes or termination. All information is subject to the content announced through the official channels of UnionPay International.
In case of any disputes, UnionPay International and YATA reserve the right of final decision.
In the event of any discrepancy between the Chinese and English versions of these terms and conditions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
