Terms and Conditions
  1. UnionPay APP x OpenRice Winter Dining Rewards (refers to "Promotion") is valid from 13 December 2022 at 10am to 6 February 2023 at 11:59pm, both days inclusive (refers to "Promotion Period").
  2. The Promotion is applicable to UnionPay APP users (refers to "Users") bound with UnionPay Card with card number starting with 62 and issued by designated card issuing institutions (refers to "UnionPay Card") and must be an OpenRice member, maintain a valid OpenRice mobile application user account with a valid registered mobile phone number, and use UnionPay APP as the payment method (refers to "Users").
  3. During the Promotion Period, Users can get the below exclusive offer upon using UnionPay APP for settling payment (refers to "Offer"):
    • OpenRice Takeaway Offer - enjoy an instant discount of HK$15 upon a single net spending of HK$50 or above. 500 quotas per day and on a first-come-first-served basis. Offer is subject to the quota usage status and the availability at the time of purchase at OpenRice platform. Each Customer can enjoy the Offer once per each promotion day (from 10:00am to 11:59pm) and up to 40 times during the Promotion Period. Offer is subject to the quota usage status and the availability at the time of purchase at OpenRice platform.
    • OpenRice Voucher Offer - enjoy an instant discount of HK$60 upon a single net spending of HK$200 or above. 240 quotas per week and on a first-come-first-served basis. Offer is subject to the quota usage status and the availability at the time of purchase at OpenRice platform. Each Customer can enjoy the Offer once per week and up to 8 times during the Promotion Period. The vouchers are subject to availability. All pictures and information of the vouchers are for reference only. Please contact the relevant merchants for details. Notice of unavailability or substitution will not be provided.
    • OpenRice Pay Offer - enjoy an instant discount of HK$100 upon a single net spending amount of HK$300 or above after deducting cash voucher, revisit offer or other discounts. 150 quotas per week and on a first-come-first-served basis. Offer is subject to the quota usage status and the availability at the time of purchase at OpenRice platform. Each Customer can enjoy the Offer once per week and up to 8 times during the Promotion Period. The Offers are subject to availability.   5. The amount after discount will be displayed prior to payment confirmation for all Offers; once confirmed, the discount will be applied and deducted instantly.
  6. Users are required to update the UnionPay APP and OpenRice mobile application to the latest version to enjoy the Offers.
  7. The Offers are only applicable for transaction via UnionPay APP. Offers are not applicable for transaction via other UnionPay QR Code Wallets.
  8. The Offer above cannot be exchanged for cash/ service, other products or discounts and is not transferable. The Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion offer or promotional discount coupons, unless otherwise specified.
  9. Each qualified transaction can enjoy the Offer once. If the transaction is qualified for more than one reward campaigns, OpenRice and UnionPay system has the right to determine which reward campaign applies.
  10. Customers are responsible for all expenses regarding to this campaign, including but not limited to transportation, tax and insurance.
  11. The Reward will only be rewarded for qualified transactions excluding cancelled, refunded and reversal transactions. If the transaction is cancelled or refunded, the Reward rewarded will be cancelled and the quota used will still be counted.
  12. If there is any violation during participation in the Promotion, UnionPay International reserves the right to disqualify the user and inactivate his/her UnionPay APP account, forfeit the reward and withdraw the Reward issued (including the consumed amount). UnionPay International reserves the right to claim against the offending users according to the seriousness of the circumstances and pursue relevant legal responsibilities.
  13. As to any users and tools conducting malicious arbitrage through violating the above-mentioned terms and conditions, including but not limited to mobile number, UnionPay Card and UnionPay APP etc., UnionPay International reserves the right not to reward or to claim against the reward, and forbid the offending users for participating in any promotion activities in future.
  14. It shall be known by the users that all kinds of uncertainties exist in the Internet. UnionPay International reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the Promotion due to force majeure or large-scale malicious arbitrage in the Promotion, communication route failure or large-scale computer hacking etc.
  15. UnionPay International shall not take any responsibility on the inability of participation in the Promotion due to the problem of users’ own electronic devices or other systems.
  16. UnionPay International and OpenRice shall not be responsible for any obligations and liabilities in relation to the products or services provided by the respective product or service provider(s). For any product and/or service enquiries, Customers should contact the relevant merchant(s) or product/service provider(s) directly.
  17. Under the law of Hong Kong, intoxicating liquor must not be sold or supplied to a minor in the course of business. 根據香港法律，不得在業務過程中，向未成年人售賣或供應令人醺醉的酒類。
  18. In case of any discrepancy between the Chinese and English on this terms and conditions, the Chinese version shall prevail for all purposes.
  19. The Promotion and usage of UnionPay APP are bound by other terms and conditions. Please refer to UnionPay APP for details. Usage of OpenRice mobile application are bound by other terms and conditions. For enquiries, please contact OpenRice mobile application.
  20. In case of disputes, the decision of UnionPay International and OpenRice shall be final and conclusive.
