Terms and Conditions
  • The promotion is valid from 1 May until 30 June 2026, or until the quotas are fully utilized, whichever is earlier (refers to “Promotion Period”).
  • The promotion is applicable to all UnionPay Credit and Debit cards (ATM cards) (refers to “UnionPay Card”), except the RMB cards issued by specific Hong Kong and Macau card issuing institutions. Full transaction must be settled via the UnionPay network. WeChat Pay, Alipay, Alipay HK, Paypal and online banking are not eligible for this promotion.
  • Designated payment methods: The Promotion is applicable only to the UnionPay Mobile Contactless Payment (including but not limited to Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Huawei Pay, and other applicable mobile device wallets), or UnionPay QR Code Payment (including UnionPay App and other mobile applications supporting UnionPay QR Code Payment).
  • During the Promotion Period, cardholders who pay with UnionPay Mobile Contactless Payment or UnionPay QR Code Payment are entitled to enjoy HKD/MOP40 instant discount upon a single net spending of HKD/MOP500 or more at Mannings physical stores in Hong Kong and Macao, or GNC physical stores in Hong Kong (refers to “Offer”).
  • UnionPay Mobile Contactless Payment refers to the contactless payment via UnionPay network using an eligible UnionPay Card added to the wallet of designated smartphones or wearable devices. To enjoy the Offer, cardholders are required to present their eligible virtual UnionPay Card on their mobile devices or wearable devices to the cashier before payment and successfully settle the transactions with contactless payment.
  • UnionPay QR Code Payment refers to the payment made by scanning UnionPay QR Code with an eligible UnionPay Card added to the app. To enjoy the Offer, cardholders should present the eligible payment code to the cashier and successfully settle the transactions with mobile payment via UnionPay network.
  • The Offer will be given away immediately upon an eligible transaction. No accumulation or replacement is allowed.
  • Each card is entitled to enjoy the Offer once daily and up to twice during the Promotion Period.
  • The Offer carries no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash, other goods or discounts. It is also non-replaceable and non-transferable.
  • Quotas apply on a first-come, first-served basis and while stocks last. The promotion will end early once all quotas are reached.
  • The Offer is calculated based on the net spending amount of each invoice. Split transactions are not accepted. Transactions cannot be made using two or more different UnionPay Cards and/or other payment methods, nor can a single transaction be split into two payments.
  • The Offer cannot be used in conjunction with other UnionPay promotions, except for in-store discounts or cross-border consumption exchange rate discounts for which registration has been successfully completed. Currently, the order of discount offers shall be instant discounts first, then the exchange rate discounts.
  • The Offer details will not be shown on the receipt of Mannings. Cardholders can refer to the actual amount debited by the issuing bank.
  • Under all circumstances shall all timestamps of this Promotion (including but not limited to the transaction date/time), transaction amounts, reversal, revocation, cancellation or refund, be based on the UnionPay back-end system records.
  • Each eligible transaction is entitled to one reward only. If a transaction qualifies for more than one reward campaign, UnionPay International system reserves the right to determine which reward campaign applies.
  • The Offer is not applicable to purchases of Mannings Gift Vouchers, infant milk formula (stage 1 formula), pharmacy products, charges on plastic shopping bag, all reloading and cash withdrawal services, cancelled and refunded transactions, and self-service payment machines.
  • The Offer is only applicable to qualified transactions excluding withdrawn, reversed, cancelled, refunded transactions nor fraudulent activities. Since the UnionPay International system cannot identify whether the revocation, cancellation or refund is due to the subjective will of cardholders or other reasons like the system, UnionPay International will disqualify cardholders from enjoying the discount, and reserves the right to pursue legal action and retrieve any distributed instant discount, either in full or on a pro-rata basis according to the refunded amount, upon disqualification of the cardholders. The quota originally issued will not be returned.
  • In the event of any refund or return, only the actual amount paid by the cardholders will be refunded, and any discount amount will not be refunded. If the final net spending amount does not meet the spending requirement after the return, the Offer will no longer apply, and the cardholders must repay the instant discount amount received. The quota will still be counted as used if a refund is processed.
  • If the transaction is cancelled or refunded, the balance of paid amount will be refunded to the corresponding UnionPay card. The discount amount will not be returned for any manual refund. If the refunded amount after cancellation is incorrect, do contact the UnionPay International customer service hotline for inquiries.
  • Participating cardholders will be disqualified for any of the following violations (refers to "Violations"):
    a) Fraud transaction;
    b) Participation in the Promotion for the purpose of illegal profits;
    c) Participation in the Promotion by maliciously using multiple accounts, participation or assistance in withdrawal of UnionPay resources (including but not limited to offers, coupons or rewards of all kinds);
    d) Participation in the Promotion by any robot software, spider software, crawler software, spamming software or other automated means;
    e) Violations of the principle of good faith;
    f) Implementing other cheating behaviour that is not actually receipt.
  • If there is any violation during participation in the Promotion, UnionPay International reserves the right to disqualify the cardholders, forfeit the discount, withdraw the discount issued, and decline to allow the cardholders to enrol in any UnionPay International promotions in the future. UnionPay International reserves the right to claim against the offending cardholders according to the seriousness of the circumstances and pursue relevant legal responsibilities.
  • It shall be known by the cardholders that all kinds of uncertainties exist on the Internet. In the event of force majeure or changes in circumstances (e.g. major disasters, commandments from competent authorities requiring suspension or adjustment, suspension due to system or communication failures, or large-scale computer malfunctions), which make it difficult to continue the Promotion, UnionPay reserves the right to adjust, suspend, or terminate the Promotion to the extent permitted by law.
  • If the cardholders fail to enjoy the Offer due to their own electronic device problems/network reception/data transfer, outdated app versions, card loss, card replacement, or other system issues, UnionPay International does not assume any liability arising from it. The quota of the Offer will not be reissued.
  • The use of UnionPay App and other apps is subject to other terms and conditions. Further details can be found in the relevant apps or through the card-issuing bank.
  • Non-local cardholders should note that some card types may be affected by the configuration of the card-issuing bank, and need to activate overseas transaction permission in advance, pay close attention to the account balance or spending limit, and get transaction password ready.   • In the event of any violation, fraud or abuse, UnionPay International Company Limited (refers to “UnionPay International”), The Dairy Farm Company, Limited (refers to “Mannings”) and General Health Development Limited (refers to “GNC”) reserve the right to reclaim any benefits obtained from the Offer.
  • UnionPay International is neither the merchant nor the service provider, thus is not responsible for the products or services provided.
  • Cardholders must carefully read the details to ensure they fully understand all the terms and conditions of the Promotion. Participation in the Promotion shall be deemed as understanding, acceptance, and agreement to comply with all terms and conditions of the Promotion.
  • UnionPay International, Mannings and GNC reserve the right to amend the Offer and its terms and conditions at any time without prior notice, and shall not bear any responsibility caused by the amendments of the Offer.
  • In the event of any disputes, the decision of Mannings and GNC shall be final.
  • In the event of any discrepancy or ambiguity between the Chinese and English versions of the terms and conditions, the Chinese version shall prevail for all purposes.
