PrivatBank connected payment by UnionPay cards in more than 12,000 Ukrainian online stores and online services. UnionPay cardholders now have the opportunity to pay for purchases online on any website that uses the LiqPay Internet acquiring service. Acceptance of payments using UnionPay cards is automatically enabled for all LiqPay merchants and does not require additional integration or settings.

We recall that in November 2020 PrivatBank was the first in Ukraine to open the issue of UnionPay cards, which can be used to pay in Ukraine and over 170 countries and regions of the world. PrivatBank's clients can apply for UnionPay "Universal" contactless credit cards of the Classic and Gold levels and receive them at the bank's branches. Starting from December 2019, UnionPay cardholders can use the cards in the PrivatBank network - pay in hotels, restaurants and retail outlets and withdraw cash from PrivatBank ATMs throughout the country. In the near future PrivatBank and UnionPay are planning to launch digital payment products that will allow using the advantages of the payment system without visiting the bank and receiving physical cards.
