UnionPay International has started the cooperation with Georgian Cartu Bank

Cartu Bank, Commercial Bank from Georgia and UnionPay International, a global bankcard scheme started cooperation. Cartu Bank will be able to start accept UnionPay cards both online and offline. In the future, the partnership will be able to issue UnionPay cards as well.

We consider that joining of respectful Cartu Bank to UnionPay International team will strengthen competitiveness in the region and provide more innovative products to the citizens of Georgia and tourists, coming to Georgia with UnionPay cards”, - said Zhang Chengdong, Head of Regional office of UnionPay International.
