      From Oct. 1, 2019 to Dec. 31, 2019 (UTC+8), cardholders can receive a CNY 20 red packet for consumption of no less than CNY 200 at designated overseas merchants paid with UnionPay cards, UnionPay Mobile QuickPass, or UnionPay QR Code. During the promotional period, new UnionPay APP users that have bound a bank card can receive additional CNY 50 New User Red Packet after making the first payment with UnionPay APP at designated merchants. Before paying with UnionPay cards or UnionPay Mobile QuickPass, users need to bind a UnionPay card to UnionPay APP. Due to the limited number, red packets are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Please refer to the in-store notice for more details.



      Activity Rules:

      1.The activity is valid from Oct. 1, 2019 till Dec. 31, 2019 (UTC+8), including the first day and the last day.

      2.This activity applies to all the designated merchants in Fiji.

      3.How to participate in the activity during the promotional period:

      1)UnionPay APP users registered with real names can receive a CNY 20 red packet for consumption of no less than CNY 200 at designated merchants paid with UnionPay cards, UnionPay Mobile QuickPass, or UnionPay QR Code. Each card or user can enjoy the offer only once a day and 3 times in total during the promotional period;

      2)New UnionPay APP users registered with real names can receive the CNY 50 New User Red Packet after making the first payment with UnionPay APP at designated merchants (this payment will not trigger the CNY 20 red packet). Each user can only enjoy the New User Red Packet once;

      3)The above amounts are all in CNY, with a total of 180,000 red packets (including 3,000 New User Red Packets), on a first-come, first-served basis;

      4)Before paying with UnionPay cards or UnionPay Mobile QuickPass, users need to bind a UnionPay card to UnionPay APP, and only UnionPay cards that start with 62 and are issued in Mainland China are accepted;

      5)Users are required to make payment with a UnionPay debit card or credit card. This activity only applies to off-line consumption, excluding pre-authorization and installment consumption; this activity is not applicable to JD QuickPass and Meituan QuickPass.

      4.UnionPay Mobile QuickPass involves Huawei Pay, Apple Pay, Mi Pay, Samsung Pay, OPPO Pay, and Meizu Pay. UnionPay QR Code involves UnionPay APP and other apps that accept UnionPay QR Code payment.

      5.How to obtain and use the red packet:

      1)After completion of payment with UnionPay cards or UnionPay Mobile QuickPass on the basis of meeting activity conditions, the red packet will be sent to the red packet account of UnionPay APP on the next day. Please check via "My Account"-"Red Packet"-"Details"-"Obtained";

      2)After completion of payment with UnionPay QR Code on the basis of meeting activity conditions, please obtain the red packet via "Me"-"Rewards". The red packet can be obtained within 30 days after the qualification is activated, and will not be available after the period of validity;

      3)Please check your red packet via "My Account"-"Red Packet" on UnionPay APP. The amount of the red packet equals to the amount of cash and is only applicable to the consumption deduction in Mainland China or credit card repayment via UnionPay APP. Please refer to "Red Packet Usage Instructions" for more details.

      6.Meeting any of the following conditions will be regarded as "the same user": same device, same user ID, same registered mobile phone number, same mobile phone number reserved for the bank card, same physical bank card number, or same ID card number. Virtual mobile phone numbers and virtual card numbers are not allowed to take part in this activity.

      7.This activity only supports consumption transactions and does not support transactions like revocation, return, and reversal. If revocation or returns occur in a transaction, UnionPay APP will deduct the corresponding red packet amount that the user has obtained from the revocation/return transaction from amounts of the subsequent red packets gained by the user. The quota on the same day of the transaction will be deemed to have been used and will not be returned.

      8.Account real-name certification: Bind your personal bank card and finish real-time certification via "Cards"-"Add Cards Now" or via "My Account"-"Identity". If "My Account"-"Identity" shows "Certified", the real-name certification is done.

      9.Open online payment: When binding a bank card, open the online payment function according to the instructions or tap the bound bank card in "Cards" to open it. "Online Payment" and "QR Code Payment" will be displayed under the bound bank card if opened successfully.

      10.Users participating in this activity are not allowed to conduct any of the following violations ("violations", collectively):

      a)False transactions;

      b)Participation for the purpose of illegal profits;

      c)Participation via malicious use of multiple accounts (including but not limited to the same IP address/device/registered mobile phone number/mobile phone number reserved for the bank card/bank card (including the supplementary virtual card on the basis of a principal card); participation or assistance in swindling resources from UnionPay (including but not limited to various coupons, red packets, or other rewards);

      d)Participation via robotic software, spider software, crawler software, spamming software, or other automatic methods;

      e)Breach of good faith; or

      f)Other cheating behaviors.

      11.During the promotional period, if there is a violation, UnionPay has the right to cancel the user's qualification to participate in the activity, freeze the UnionPay APP account, cancel the qualification of the prize, refuse to award the prize, and retrieve the issued red packet (including the used amount). UnionPay will bring a claim for damages against the violator at its discretion and hold the violator accountable.

      12.For users who violate the above rules and conduct promotional abuse behaviors, and for the tools they use (including but not limited to mobile phone numbers, UnionPay cards, UnionPay APP, etc.), China UnionPay reserves the right not to offer discounts, to recover the offers already issued, and to refuse the users' any future participation in promotion of UnionPay.

      13.UnionPay has the right to conduct random phone checks on the winning users, and ask the users to provide ID cards, passports, other identity documents, contact information, participating accounts, and other materials that prove the conformity with the activity rules. If the information provided by the users is untrue, incomplete, invalid, or illegal, UnionPay has the right not to issue the red packet.

      14.Users are aware of many uncertainties in the Internet. UnionPay has the right to revise, suspend, or cancel this activity due to force majeure, large-scale promotional abuse behaviors, communication route failure, large-scale computer system breakdown, etc. during the promotional period.

      15.The activity organizer will not be responsible for the user's failure to participate in the activity due to the incompatibility of its electronic device or other system problems.

      16.All the times of this activity are subject to the time of China UnionPay's background system.

      17.To the extent permitted by law, UnionPay reserves the right to adjust, suspend, and terminate this activity, which will become effective upon announcement.

      18.Any changed terms and conditions will take effect from the date of the change.


    • Exception Clause:

      1. The terms and conditions of the promotion is applicable to the merchant. Details can be consulted from customer service staff.
      2. UnionPay International is neither vendors nor service providers, thus UnionPay International is not responsible for the products or services provided by the merchant. Any obligations and liabilities relating to such products or services and all auxiliary services should be borne by the merchant.
      3. UnionPay International and the merchant reserve the right to cancel, revise, suspend or terminate all or any parts of the promotion, or revise the terms and conditions herein contained, at any time without prior notice or reason. In case of any disputes, the decision of UnionPay International and the merchant shall be final and binding on all parties concerned.
